The ducks are growing so quickly! They seem so much bigger every day! This week they started getting their adult feathers so it won’t be long until they are ready to move to the farm. I’m really looking forward to that day, because I think they will love it there and it makes me sad that they aren’t free to roam as God intended them to be. We have trained them to eat from our hands. I haven’t tried setting them free with no boundary yet, but we did end up putting them in our pool to let them swim since they are way too big for the other swim container I have. I want them to have their wing feathers before we take them to the farm so they can fly to safety if a predator comes around.
Pam the Duck- 4 weeks old Dwight the Duck- 4 weeks old Two ducks and two monkeys!
My dear friend Christina’s twins love to come play with the ducks. Kensley is such an animal lover! She isn’t afraid at all. She helps her brother Keegan catch a duck so he can hold one too. I love these two so much- they are my little buddies! They can’t wait for us to get some goats and cows!
Here is a short video of the ducks swimming in our pool. I honestly can’t believe Jamey let us put them in there. I think he might like them a little more than he lets on!
Our daughter Madison took the video of the ducks swimming in the pool for the first time- she’s so creative with videos and photos! The ducks are one month old today!

Matthew 6:26 (NIV)
Look at the birds of the air; they do not sow or reap or store away in barns, and yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Are you not much more valuable than they?
