My name is Monica Scott. I’m a mom, wife, and faithful friend. I love to spend time with my family and friends. My husband and I have been married 26 years! We met in a high school Aquatic Biology class at the Tennessee Aquarium. Isn’t that crazy! We were married at The Little Brown Church on Signal Mountain July 1, 1993. At only 18 years old, we started a great adventure together. We have never done things the easy way, but we have trusted God to see us through and HE has never failed us!
Three years after our wedding we were blessed with our firstborn, Dillon. He was a perfect baby and as a child he was compassionate as well as brilliant. He could read at age 3! He’s all grown up and on his own now starting adventures of his own!
We couldn’t wait to add another baby to our family so Madison was born less than two years after Dillon. What a treasure she is to our family! She’s talented, smart , and absolutely stunning! She passionately pursues adventure!
Sometimes God gives the best surprises! When we found out we were expecting another child we were so excited! God knows what we need before we even realize it. Noah has brought such joy to our family. He always has us laughing. He’s our only child still in school. We homeschool Noah through Classical Conversations Challenge program. This is our 7th year in the homeschool adventure and we love it!
I like to view everything in life as an adventure. A journey. A road trip. We can learn so much along the way: about God, about ourselves, and about others around us. Most of the posts you read here will be light and fun because truly laughing is my favorite. I’m hoping to keep a good log of pictures and stories as we chart some unknown territory. We have never owned a farm, lived off-grid, or raised cattle. This blog will give our family and friends a window into our Farm life. I hope to publish some great family recipes, inspiring stories of faith, and funny adventures- though I do hope they are not at the expense of yours truly! I hope it will inspire you to keep dreaming Big dreams and take that big adventure!
